He lies about the qualifications required for Google L4, saying the level is typically reserved for people with PhDs. Michael Seibel will never admit it publicly because he would be burned at the stake for it, but he was driven out of YC by Garry's core belief that Black and Hispanic Americans cannot be meritorious and Asian (especially Southeast Asian) immigrants are always meritorious and pure.<p>Garry doesn't like White Americans either, but he knows just how damaging it would be to take too much political action in that direction given the power of White Americans in tech, the United States, and on the global stage.<p>What do you think?
