问HN:为什么ePub中的图片这么小?
许多非小说类的电子书(epub格式)中包含图像,而几乎所有的图像都小得无用。文字难以辨认,图像中的细小字体也没有帮助。图像的显示宽度仅为页面的60%。<p>我想知道,制作这些电子书和图像的人是否真的阅读过它们?这些图像是否与纸质书中使用的相同?我猜纸质书中使用的图像质量要高得多,但我无法进行比较,因为我通常不会同时购买纸质版和电子版。<p>我在不同出版社、不同语言的书籍中都见过这种情况。显然,这是一种普遍现象。为什么会这样?有人能解释一下吗?

Many non fiction epub ebooks have images, and almost all are so tiny that they are useless. Text is unreadable and the tiny and thin fonts in the images don't help either. Images are displayed at 60% page width.<p>I wonder if anybody who creates these ebooks and the images ever reads them? Are these the same images as used in the paper books? My bet is that the images used for paper books are much higher quality, but I can't compare because in general I don't buy both the paper and epub version.<p>I've seen this in books from different publishers, different languages. Apparently it's a universal thing. Why? Can anybody explain?
