我在投资银行和软件工程的工作大约十个月前辞职,开始为抵押贷款发起人开发软件。<p>这是我第一次经营软件即服务(SaaS)业务,因此我并不完全确定大多数客户互动应该是怎样的……就个人而言,我一直是一个随和的SaaS产品消费者;支付账单,提供有用的反馈,不提出不合理的要求等等……<p>我尽量对我们的潜在客户和客户表现得非常包容和合理,希望以善待他人的方式对业务有利,但有些人似乎总是试图利用我们。<p>例如,我们曾多次倾听客户的反馈,并根据他们建议的内容开发新产品,这些产品被认为对他们的业务运营有帮助,但一旦软件产品开发完成,他们却声称新产品是“他们”的主意,或者试图谈判软件或我们公司的所有权,甚至威胁如果不如他们所愿就起诉我们(目前还没有诉讼)……<p>我想知道你们是否也有这样的客户互动?我相信每个企业都有难缠的客户,但这与我在投资银行工作时接触的专业人士相比,文化差异实在太大了……

I left my investment banking, software engineering, job approximately ten months to build software for mortgage loan originators.<p>It&#x27;s my first time operating a software as a service business, so I&#x27;m not exactly sure how most customer interactions are supposed to go... Personally, I&#x27;ve always been an easy-going consumer of SaaS products; pay the bill, offer useful feedback, don&#x27;t make unreasonable demands, etc...<p>I&#x27;ve tried to be really accommodating and reasonable with our prospects and clients, hoping that treating people with kindness would be good for business, but some of them seem to have an endless capacity to try and take advantage of us.<p>For example, on several occasions, we&#x27;ve listened to client&#x27;s feedback and built new products which they suggested would be useful to the operation of their businesses, but once the software products are built, they&#x27;ve responded by claiming the new product is &quot;their&quot; idea, or trying to negotiate ownership of the software or our business, and even threatening to sue us if they don&#x27;t get their way (no lawsuits yet)...<p>I&#x27;m wondering do you have these kind of customer interactions? I&#x27;m sure every business has difficult customers, but this has been a pretty radical cultural shift from the professionals I was working with at the investment bank...
