Given how AI tools seem to be having an upending impact on our jobs as programmers, are people having different experiences during technical interviews?<p>Are people having interviews where the interviewers are going to great lengths to test purely your knowledge, without AI assistance? Are people being asked to do more in-person interviews? On the other end of the spectrum, are people being encouraged to specifically show how they use AI tools? Are people seeing no change at all?<p>For those giving the interviews, are you being asked by management to take a specific stance on AI usage in technical interviews? Do you as interviewers see changes on your end of the process?
