After Claude's relentless spam and psyops on HN, I decided to sign up to buy a plan.
I received a link, clicked on it, and a new webpage appeared with the message:<p>“We were unable to verify you with this link”<p>You'd think there'd be an error code or a descriptive message to help diagnose the problem.<p>But nothing of the sort.<p>Not only are there no helpful messages, but the “Contact Support” option is simply an FAQ with questions irrelevant to the problem.<p>How is it possible that a company touted as a cutting-edge code model can’t provide a UX as simple as displaying an error message for a login issue?<p>This is definitely a deal-breaker for me.<p>How many billions have investors poured into this company that can’t even report a failed email registration?<p>Is this the AI that’s supposed to help me fix code for my early-stage cancer diagnosis company?
