问HN：在人工智能时代，你是如何教孩子的？
我越来越感到迷茫。原本计划教我10岁的孩子学习Python，可能会通过游戏或机器人来让学习变得有趣。但当我环顾四周，看到其他人利用人工智能做出更先进的东西时，我感到很沮丧。
昨天我尝试了谷歌的AI工作室。一个小时后，我的手机上就有了一个应用程序。当使用人工智能如此简单就能得到最终结果时，学习所有基础知识和艰难内容的动力就很难说服自己。
我一直在避免让他们知道图像生成是真实存在的，他们喜欢画画和做艺术。我担心那种即时满足感会让他们沉迷于生成更多的AI图像，从而失去对实际绘画和创作的兴趣。另一方面，提示工程（prompt engineering）也是一门技术，甚至在图像生成方面也是如此。
毫无疑问，学习如何利用人工智能是一项技能。但当我想到我的孩子们将面临的未来时，我甚至不知道该如何应对。
老实说，有时候我觉得把时间和精力投入到人工智能尚无法取代的事情上更明智。我总是在“我们需要学习技术”和“我们无法战胜它，还是把注意力和精力放在其他事情上”之间摇摆。（注意：这也是因为我的孩子们对技术不是很感兴趣，我明白如果家里有热爱计算机的极客，情况会完全不同——就像我当年一样！）

I've been feeling more and more lost. Had plans to teach my 10yr python, maybe something fun with games or robotics. But then I look around and I see others doing 100x more advanced things using AI.<p>Yesterday I tried google ai studio. 1hr later I had an app on my phone. Its hard to justify the motivation of learning all the foundations and hard stuff, when it's so easy to get to the end result using AI.<p>I've been avoiding showing them that image generation is a real thing, they love to draw and do arts. I fear that that instant gratification will just hook them to do more and more AI images and loose their interest in actual drawing and painting. On the other hand, prompt engineering is a thing, even for image gen.<p>No question that learning to leverage AI is a skill. But I don't even know how to navigate that when I think about the kind of future my kids will face.<p>Honestly, sometimes I feel it's just wiser to put your time and effort into things AI is very far to replace us. I'm always swinging from "we need to learn tech" to "we can't beat it, let's put our focus and energy into something else". (note: this is also because my kids are not very tech-oriented, I understand this would be totally different if I had geeks in the house that love computer stuff - like I was!)<p>How are you all navigating this, especially those of you with kids?
